TV on the Radio, Trent Reznor, and Peter Murphy singing "Dreams"+
Last night I slept for 3 hours, and within those 3 hours I watched a movie that I made up in my head. It was a fairly strange little movie. It was animated and it had a lot do with running, I distinctly remember dialogue, although know I could probably only recall one line of it. Characters were fully developed, it had a story, shots were completely fleshed out, things were completely designed and fully illustrated. It was like I had composed an anime film in my head, which was even stranger because I'm not all that crazy about anime anymore. I think it was set in some kind of enormously elaborate asian city. The main character was a young man that for some reason could run unreasonably fast, but in his head he felt that he wasnt running fast enough and could feel whoever or whatever was chasing him closing in on him. The great thing about dreaming things is that you get the physical sensation of things happening. Whenever the main character would be running away from something it would seem fast, but in my head I could feel how slow he percieved himself. It was as if I was falling through an endlessly deep ocean and was trying to run in the water. Everything felt heavy and thick, everything little movement felt like 5000 movements happening all at once rendering muscles useless. And of course there was a pointlessly well endowed woman in it, providing nothing to the story outside boob-comedy and smiles.. See how I can dumb it down.. Anyways......Dont forget to go to my updated
